After sledding with the family we had dinner then opened more gifts.

Josh's dad and family came up today (sat. Dec. 27th) for sledding and dinner. We pull sleds behind our 4-wheelers in our field.

Christmas in the Spears house. We got a new laptop computer with printer,the game clue, Kung Fu Panda for the family. Sadie got clothes, HSM cd, craft things and a few other things. Hayden got clothes, batman toys, transformers and a few other things as well.
We spent Christmas Eve with Josh's side of the family. On the way home I told the kids if they got up Christmas morning before we did then to watch t.v. quietly until 7a.m. then they can wake us up. I heard the kids at 1:45a.m. they were watching t.v. so I made them go back to bed. They couldn't understand why they couldn't stay up until 7a.m. then wake us up. The next time I heard them was 6a.m. but they let us sleep until 7 a.m.
We had a wonderful Christmas. We were snowed in so we played games as a family and then watched Kung Fu Panda.

Sadie's Christmas clogging performance at Midway Town Hall. They clogged to the song "I want Candy". They did such a great job unlike my picture taking ability.

We taught the kids to shoot a .22 while we were hunting. The only elk we saw was on private property. We were sad. We did a lot of shooting and climbing big rocks.

Over the weekend we took the kids to Vernal to hunt cow elk. We made a stop at the dinosaur museum. They got to dig for bones and play with dino toys.

Our first snow. Sadie made snowmen with her friend Abby(Abby left early so she wasn't there when I took the picture. Hayden at our friends (the Sweats) house making snow forts and an odd looking chair (looked like a toilet to me). We had a lot more snow a couple of days ago, it's finally starting to melt. The kids want more snow to play in. They had to "borrow" snow from the neighbors.

We had our family pictures taken about a month ago in American Fork at the old star mill which is now an antique store. My cosin Jesi took them and did such a great job. The kids had so much fun playing and posing there.

Halloween night. Sadie was the spider web ghost and Hayden was Indiana Jones Josh and I were pirates. We went to our ward's trunk or treat on a long street in our neighborhood. We had chili, doughnuts, and apple cider there and then tricked or treated each car there. Afterward we went over to another neighborhood with our friends trick or treating. One of those houses had a small haunted house in there garage that we all went through. It was a fun night.

Here's Hayden at his Halloween program at school. They sang the cutest songs I have ever heard and they all had little parts to say. He was adorable.

Me and the kids favorite time of year is Halloween. We started a tradition last year to make these yummy mummy cookies. We give some to our friends here in Heber and eat the rest. They are fun to make too.

Our trip to Universal Studios. We went with my whole family. We had a blast. Hayden especially loved Jaws.

Our family trip to San Francisco in 2007. We went with my parents, brother and his wife and kids and my other two brothers. We went to Alcatraz, that was a cool place, the kids loved it, then an aquarium there, the Golden Gate Bridge and oh ya and a football game (go UTES).

For Christmas we went on a cruise with my parents to Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. First picture we were in Puerto Vallarta. Second was in our room on the cruise ship. The kids got their face painted in the kids zone. Most of our pictures didn't turn out too well, this is what we got.

We try to go with my family to a Utah (UTES) away game once a year. We've been to a few. They are a lot of fun. This is a picture of one of my crazy brothers and his friends getting ready for the game. This was at UCLA. Hayden and Brynlee having a blast also.

Most of our family vacations have been at Disneyland. After the 5th trip I stopped taking pictures.

Our dog Shadow had puppies.

This was a bit of a suprise. We thought that maybe she

was in heat for a while then her swelling never went down so we thought great I guess she's pregnate. Two days after we figured this out she had pups.

Hayden was the first to find them. He went out to feed Shadow before school and found all the puppies.

They ended up being labs so we are selling them. There were 8. We have 5 left.

We moved to Heber a little over two years ago from Pleasant Grove. We have a little over 7 acres. We grassed in and made our yard area 1/2 acre. The rest is alfalfa that we grow and sell. We love living out here and having all this room. I wanted chickens from the day we moved out here. My Father-in-law helped me build the cutest chicken coop ever. We have all kinds of chickens, ameriaunas, golden laced cochins(bantams), sultans and more. This has been mostly me and Hayden's hobbie but everyone loves the eggs.
